Sieć eduroam jest siecią globalną obejmującą tysiące uniwersytetów i innych organizacji w ponad 100 krajach. Przy użyciu konta skonfigurowanego w sieci eduroam PWr można zalogować się do dowolnej sieci eduroam w Polsce i na całym świecie.

Informacja dla użytkowników sieci eduroam

Szanowni Państwo,

nastąpiła istotna zmiana w konfiguracji sieci Wi-Fi eduroam na Politechnice Wrocławskiej, związana z przejściem na nowego dostawcę certyfikatów TLS. W związku z tym prosimy wszystkich użytkowników o wymianę dotychczas używanego profilu eduroam na nowy, aby zapewnić nieprzerwany dostęp do sieci.

Ważne daty i szczegóły zmiany

Zmiana certyfikatu sieci eduroam nastąpiła 31 sierpnia 2025 r. o godzinie 00:00. Po tej dacie obecnie używany profil „eduroam v2 dla pwr.edu.pl” przestał działać. Od 1 września 2025 udostępniamy nowy profil v4.

Nowy profil v4

Od 1 września 2025 r. jest dostępny do pobrania nowy profil „eduroam v4 dla pwr.edu.pl”, który zapewni kompatybilność z nowym certyfikatem TLS. Przed jego instalacją zalecamy usunięcie wszystkich wcześniej używanych profili.

Aby to zrobić, należy odinstalować aplikację geteduroam, a następnie sprawdzić w ustawieniach Wi-Fi urządzenia, czy nadal istnieje zapisana sieć eduroam. Jeśli tak, należy skorzystać z opcji "Zapomnij sieć". Te i dalsze kroki łączenia się z siecią Wi-Fi zostały szczegółowo opisane w instrukcjach poniżej.

Alternatywa w razie problemów

W przypadku trudności z konfiguracją połączenia z siecią eduroam, na terenie kampusu Politechniki Wrocławskiej dostępna jest sieć gościnna PWrGuest, która umożliwia tymczasowy dostęp do Internetu. Informacje na temat tej sieci są dostępne pod adresem https://pwrguest.pwr.edu.pl.

Information for eduroam network users

Dear Users,

An important change has been made to the configuration of the eduroam Wi-Fi network at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, related to switching to a new TLS certificate provider. Therefore, we kindly ask all users to replace their current eduroam profile with a new one to ensure uninterrupted network access.

Important dates and change details

The eduroam network certificate was changed on August 31, 2025 at 00:00. After this date, the currently used profile “eduroam v2 for pwr.edu.pl” stopped working. From September 1, 2025, a new v4 profile is available.

New Profile v4

As of September 1, 2025, a new profile “eduroam v4 for pwr.edu.pl” is available for download, which ensures compatibility with the new TLS certificate. Before installing it, we recommend removing all previously used profiles.

To do this, open the geteduroam application and select the "Remove configured WiFi profile" option, or if this option is unavailable, go to your device’s Wi-Fi settings and select “Forget network” for the saved eduroam network.
Then, restart the geteduroam app to download the new profile. This requires an alternative internet connection and re-entering your credentials.

Alternative in case of issues

If you experience difficulties configuring the eduroam connection, the PWrGuest guest network is available on the campus of Wrocław University of Science and Technology. It provides temporary internet access.

Manual eduroam configuration

If using the ready-made profile and application does not work, you can manually configure the eduroam network by setting the following parameters:

• Network name: eduroam
• Security type: WPA2-Enterprise AES
• EAP method: EAP-TTLS
• Authentication method: PAP
• Anonymous identity: anonymous@pwr.edu.pl
• Server certificate: Ask on first connection (if this option isn’t shown, do not select any certificate)

When connecting to the eduroam network, the system will ask for a username and password and may display a message with information about the authentication server, similar to the one below:

Continue connecting?
If you expect to find the eduroam network in this location, go ahead and connect.
Otherwise, it may be a different network with the same name.
